Robert Winborne

Managing Director, Brookwood Associates

Robert S. Winborne advises companies and business owners as an investment banker and as a board member.

He is the founder and Managing Director of Brookwood Associates, a registered broker-dealer firm that advises business owners and management teams on M&A, financing, and value-enhancing strategies.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of companies in a variety of industries, including engineered composites, water infrastructure services, smart-traffic technology, SaaS software, and outdoor adventure.

Robert also serves as a director of four nonprofits: Emory Saint Joseph’s Inc. (hospitals); SteerSmart (safe driving); Saint Joseph’s Health System/Mercy Care (medical care for the poor), and MARR (addiction recovery).

A graduate of UNC and Harvard Business School, Robert worked in New York for Goldman Sachs and Kidder Peabody prior to founding Brookwood.  Robert and his wife Lauren live in Atlanta and are the parents of six children.

Robert first became aware of Andy Petrovich as a result of Andy’s successes first with the sterilization department of Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta and later for other Emory hospitals. He is excited to support Andy and Petriss in bringing an innovative software solution that addresses the critical issue of  hospital-acquired infection.
